Kaniki Bible College was established in 1983 by our Danish founding fathers with the vision of raising an army of prophets for the kingdom of God. Since then, it has graduated several hundreds of men and women, who are now serving the Lord all over Zambia and beyond her borders in many other countries in Africa, Europe, Canada, and the United States of America. In 2011, Kaniki Bible College was upgraded by the Zambia Ministry of Education to a University Status, and we praise the Lord for such a great achievement.
With the aim of achieving both the spiritual and academic development of our students, Kaniki Bible University College offers quality and balanced education of a very high standard.
It is tailored to produce change in the lives of our students as their character is shaped to display a godly life because ‘charisma without character leads to chaos’. To enhance this, rich and power packed morning prayers, chapel, and devotions are part of the students’ daily life and practice. Furthermore, our education changes the way students do ministry. They are empowered both for academic excellence and, in turn, effective service in the kingdom of God. Our academic programs are not only theological, we also offer a basic course in agriculture to provide our graduates with skills that help to sustain and support them as they go out in the field.
Kaniki Bible University College is interdenominational, has credible learning facilities and qualified teaching staff. It offers various programmes ranging from certificate and diploma in Biblical studies to Bachelors Degree of theology.
Raising leaders of integrity and relevance and see them serve and impact churches and societies in Africa according the principles of the Bible. A new generation of spiritual leaders in/from Zambia, who will play an important role in lifting this country and its people in insight, faith and integrity.
To attract, raise, equip, educate, empower and develop students and leaders enabling them to receive and deliver God’s relevant word according their personal talents and callings.
The curriculum is divided into two segments. These are called Year A and Year B. A student who enters college in Year A will do courses provided for that year. She or he will complete Year B the next year. The similar thing applies to one who enters in Year B.
There is a new intake every year in January. Whether a student starts in Year A or B they will cover basically the same subjects and material. Minor variations occur in the programme, as the faculty will not always remain the same.
Bachelor of Theology Degree
The need for qualified and competent leaders in Zambia cannot be over emphasized.
This need is even very outspoken when it comes to people who have a genuine theoretical training and who are qualified to take on senior leadership.
KBUC offers a Bachelor of Theology Degree completion program tailored to meet this demand, not only in Zambia, but also in Africa and in the world at large.
