Road (from Lusaka) – The 325 km drive from Lusaka to Luangwa takes approximately four hours on reasonable roads. The distance is about 230 km on a tarred road (“Great East Road”) and another 77 km on a new tarred road along the Luangwa River. 13 km bush road takes you to Kavalamanja where you board boats for the short transfer to the lodge.

Redcliff Zambezi Lodge and surrounding area are best known for superb tigerfishing, with the tigerfish being rated one of the strongest fighters kilogram for kilogram. Redcliff’s fishing licence covers all its guests. The lodge supports a catch-and-release policy. Fibre mounts/replicas are available for trophy fishing.
Chalets are conveniently spaced under the large, shady riparian trees. The lodge property (about 100 ha) extends along 1.5 km river frontage. The lodge is equipped with fully stocked bar, pool, Wi-fi and DSTV. Cellphone reception is available in the managers office.
The central entertainment area consist of the bar, dinning room, TV lounge. A well-appointed Deck overlooks the river. This is the ideal spot to view the numerous hippo and crocodiles that frequent the Zambezi River in front of the lodge, and to listen to the sounds of the wild after sunset.
